LETS LURK!

You can tell my summer premiered with a bang. I haven't made a post on this god damned blog for weeks! But hey, I'm here and I got one for you. A couple nights ago I experienced some wizardly pellet which gave me and my friends the sudden urge to lurk the streets. We talked about life, happiness, and watched the sun come up. How fucking emo is that? I still enjoyed it though, so fuck off. In last few hours I've come across a song that could of easily been our soundtrack for that night/morning. We should of hired some drunken morning mess to stumble behind us holding an iPod boombox (Example). But anyway, the song is Fred Falke's 909pm At The Beach. It a very slow tempo, feel good, instrumental. It begins with the sounds of crashing waves, it then merges with the keyboard, suddenly the bass and a guitar rears its head. It's an awesome smooth sound to have on your playlist. Download and enjoy.

909pm At The Beach - Fred Falke

MIX FABRIC

Sometimes I just like listening to this old mix by Justice titled Mix Fabric. It's a culmination dance and disco tracks; a very good 45 mins.

PUNKS JUMP UP

Punks Jump Up is a DJ Duo hailing from the UK. They've just hopped off tour and produced a 40 minute mix that they want to make available to blog readers. The mix is a steady stream of pumping dance and disco tracks appropriate for any party. Take the time to download, you'll love it.

JACK IN THE BOX

Ivory is a quick spitting rapper out of the UK and he's set to release his album Jack In The Box on Rat Records very soon. Ivory's style is quick and hard hitting; strategically placed over bouncing bass and ripping synths. He's like the UK's Spank Rock. Ready and willing to mesh Rap with todays Electro music; a mash-up he superbly uses to his advantage.

GHETTO ELECTRO

Want to see some pussy popping during electro parties? Then you need to play some tracks from Giant Pussy label owner Tim Healey (That's right Giant Pussy Records, Don't laugh). They are releasing their Ghetto tech anthem, Ghetto Electro by DJ Godfather Feat DJ Omega. They have also released a video for the track that features clips showcasing a whole slew of sloppy, ghetto chicks popping the asses and their pussies in the club; it's almost disgusting. The song does resonate the typical churning synths and rhythmic thumping base, It's the video that makes it seem something special.
I also have a 40 minute Mix by Tim Healey for readers to download. It's actually really good. Download and listen.

The Opposite of Adults

I'm digging this video. The giant heads keep me entertained and "Proto" needs fucking braces. Their name is just fun to say as well.

Yo!

Apparently I've had a soft spot for fairly old tracks lately. Sometimes I download songs without ever giving them a listen and usually I let my iTunes run on shuffle. Today this song Yo! by Donovan came on. My eyes lit up and I realized that I had this old electro song. It's really pumping; Bass, strings and synths; the works. I'm making it available, download it.

Yo ! - Donovan

Bass Debauchery

You know the anxiety you feel during the first 50 seconds of an Electro beat, leading to the initial bass pounding drop? Everyone goes nuts after that, ready to pump fists and tear up the dance floor. Gtronic, a Belgium DJ/Producer, released his Iron Man EP on December 17th (it's Available on Beatport) and Spread The Noise has sent me some samples to share with readers. Gtronic doesn't disappoint, delivering thumpers for the dance floor. The dark, twisting tones allow you to imagine the sweaty debauchery that would be happening in any party. I've posted Downloadable tracks from Gtronic along with some remixes. Let me know what you think. Download and Enjoy.

Not High Enough

It's been over a week without a post on this site. Well, in my defense, last week was all about college finals. I was studying hard and trying to pass my classes, you know how it is. But now that I am back in action, I have several posts to make in order to make up for lost time. Spread The Noise has sent me  several tracks to post. The first of which, is an amazing remix of an old school song. Mikey Mic, who is obviously a man to be reckoned with, did a remix of Ain't no Mountain High Enough by Marvin Gaye & Tammy Tarrell. The chorus is chopped up and placed over a stunning bass pounding, electro beat. Thanks Mikey Mic and Spread The Noise.

LAZRtag oooh gosh SEEEX!!!

LAZRfuckingtag everyone!

Ladies and Gents what is wrong with these dudes, its like everything they remix is fucking gold, What is this? Luvtek and Addison, the two boys from LA each have on their own have a killer ass discography but, when they come together and play its really something else. Giving Electro a whole different flavor. Their shit, makes listening to Crystal Castles sound less like your playing a game boy. You can definitely hear their influences from the Dirty House sound that Justice produces and even Dafts style (Detonate). They are definitely no Justice or Daft Punk but they are sure as fucking shit right up there with them.

Ladies and Gents If you haven't heard them yet, I strongly advise you to look up all you can about LAZRtag because once they really hit mainstream, and they will soon, the music world is in for a make over

Here be the first on your block who knew about them before they have a video on MTGAY

Crash Overdrive

Crash Overdrive is a U.S. Electro Producer that was introduced to me by Spread The Noise. He's Releasing his new EP, Retake The Streets, which is available on iTunes. I was able to listen to an EP teaser and also a sample of a Remix he did for Kaskade. They're both very good, consisting of the typical Electro sound you would expect today; Packed with rhythmic pulsations and rattling bass. I have the Teaser and the Sample Remix available to download below, along with a link to purchase the EP from iTunes. Download and listen.
